Unit strength

Post by TheWizEd » Sat May 12, 2018 3:20 pm

Is there any table of unit strength? The ingame unit strength is just a relative scale to each unit of a catergory. For example Rifleman is Firepower 1 where as Trooper is 2. For Armored U-00 is Firepower 2 and R5A2 is 5. But a U-00 Firepower must be much greater than a Trooper.

Greetings Commander TheWizEd,

the force of all units from the same tier is always the same, but different unit have higher or lower attacking power depending on the unit type they are fighting
against. You can see the exact percentages in the recruitment menu in your Military District. Please see the reference image attached to my post.

In this example we have selected Infantry and the percentages read as follows:
- Infantry units deal +50% damage to UGV units and +25% to LSV units
- Infantry units deal -50% to Armored units and -25% to Artillery

I hope this makes things more transparent
Best of luck on the Instant War battlefield ^^

If I were to think of it as a number, a Rifleman unit has firepower of 1, a U-00 has a firepower of 2. An infantry unit has a strength reduction of 50% against armored unit so it's firepower becomes 0.5. I would need 4 Rifleman units to be equivalent to the firepower of a U-00 against armored unit.

Now how does force apply to unit strengt? A Trooper has firepower of 2 and force of 1.5 compared to Rifleman.

Hello TheWizEd,

You example is correct.
The main component in the battle between two armies will be the force.
The other component which will decide the outcome will be the bonus each army receives from skills, items, researches and troop bonuses.

The force of a unit is calculated based on the respective stats, including the fire power.

Let me know if you have any other question or this is not clear.
Have a great day,
