Crafting
Your General is not just a pretty face but a very valuable tool in the fight against your oppressors. You can craft and equip powerful Items to give you an edge in all that you do with your armies.
Equipment Items can be crafted in the Tech Development within your Tech District.
To begin crafting:
- Tap on your Tech Development and select the Craft option.
- Expand the Crafting Queue on your Action Bar and tap on it
You can craft items from 6 specific categories: weapon, helmet, armor, belt, gloves and boots. All Items require specific Parts to being crafting. You can check the requirements of each one just by selecting it.
To summarize shortly, crafting new Items requires:
Crafting Parts
There are 15 different types and each type has 5 different levels of quality. You can upgrade the quality of any by Fusing 5 identical Parts of the same quality toghether. Parts can be obtained by defeating Encounters on the map or opening part crates.
Nanomaterials
This is the basic resource required for equipment crafting. Defeating Encounters and completing certain Missions will reward crates of Nanomaterials.
Equipment Item
All Items level 4 and above will always also require an item from the previous or equal level. NOTE: All Level 1 Items require only nanomaterials and parts.
All Items have bonuses, each with a minimum and maximum value. The higher your Tech Development level is the higher chance you have to craft an item with maximum bonus values.
Using mixed quality Parts is a risk that may or may not result in your favor. You can always tap on any of the required parts to swap them with a different quality one.
TIP: If you see a label over a part, saying "Fuse Me", you can double tap on that part to automatically fuse it into a higher quality.
Storage
Once an Item is crafted and collected it goes to the storage. All Parts are also kept in the storage, but remember the Parts storage is limited so be aware of it's content to avoid losing Part rewards. Upgrading your Tech Development increases the amount of available Part Storage slots.
To access the storage start from the Craft menu in your Tech Development and select Storage from the top side of the screen.
Items can be Disassembled and Augmented from the storage as well as equipped to an item slot for your General. When disassembling an item, you have a chance to get back some of the parts (with reduced quality) as well as some of the Nanomaterials used for the item's crafting.
Augmentation
Item Augmentation allows you to boost the current item bonuses and gain new bonuses if successful. To open the Augmentation menu tap on an item in your Gear Storage category, choose an item and select Augment.
The current bonuses of your equipment item are always displayed on the top. The list of available bonuses for your item is displayed below. They can only be obtained after a successful augmentation. Upgrading your Augmentation Lab increases the chance of successful augmentation. Bonuses that may vary in value and type are shown with "???". Higher level items can reach up to 5 bonuses through crafting and augmentation.
Use the slider to select which of the bonuses you want to augment. The augmentation process requires Nanomaterials and the result is instant. By selecting more bonuses to augment you get also a higher chance for success. Equipment items that have been augmented will have an indication when viewed in your Gear Storage. The bonuses gained from the augmentation process are displayed on the right side of their core bonus values.
Equipment Sets
Sets allow you to create sets of equipment items for specific purposes. You may, for example, have a set that improves your army's attack and another that benefits your army's gathering speed.
Sets can be edited and saved from the general screen. To go check your items and sets, from your main command interface, simply tap on your general's avatar.
Tips for Managing Sets
