Performing a merge simply to create a "distraction" for one Alliance would not be beneficial in the long term unless both sides...

Huh. I'm in Server 7, and BTR's very good with type of thing. Nobody leaves mass conversations, but we don't do it too often, only for IMPORTANT stuff and messages.
