Fight for territorial supremacy in King of the Hill, a brand new cross-region PvP event. During the event, work with the Commanders of your Region to capture the Loyalist Strongholds and defend them as long as you can to earn points. You can also maneuver to the opposing region and capture their Strongholds for extra points, but be careful, as their Commanders can do the same! Will you stay and help defend your region, or will you take the fight on the enemy’s homefront?
- Players who are at HQ level 7 (and above) can maneuver to the opposing region(s).
"King of the Hill" consists of three stages:
Preparation Stage:
The event begins with the Preparation Stage, during which the opposing Regions will be announced and visible in the main Event interface. Once the opposing regions are chosen, they will not change for the duration of the event.
Action Stage (Strongholds):
Once the Action Stage begins, the Loyalist Strongholds will spawn on both opposite regions. Commanders can interact with them to Scout, Occupy or Reinforce them.

- Strongholds have 3 Levels, which depend on the Zone they are in. Level 3 Strongholds located in Zone 3 are fewer than the ones in Zone 2 and Zone 1 respectively, but will net Commanders more Personal points for capturing them and defending them, as well as more Region points for their Region by keeping them under control. However, the Loyalist forces sent to take them back will be stronger.
- There is strength in unity: Strongholds can be occupied by troops from multiple Commanders of the same Region. However, each commander has a maximum number of units they can place on a Stronghold. This number depends on the Stronghold level.
- A Region will keep control of a Stronghold even if troops of its Commanders have left it. However, be mindful that leaving a Stronghold defenceless will make it easy pickings for the enemy Commanders or Loyalist Forces.
- While in the opposite region, Commanders will only be able to interact with their Strongholds. Attacking Enemy Commanders’ bases is not permitted.
Commanders can check the Strongholds’ status and coordinates for both regions in the Stronghold Status screen, accessible from the Event Menu. Commanders will also be able to locate them on the tactical map.

During the Action Stage, Commanders can use Stronghold Points Boosters to increase the Personal Points gained by all Commanders involved in the next 5 successful captures or defence of the selected Stronghold. Careful, as these will affect enemy Commanders just like allies, should they prevail in battle.

Action Stage (Maneuver):
All eligible Commanders can maneuver to the opposing Region in order to capture and defend its Strongholds. This can be done from the main Event interface through the "Maneuver" option shown under the opposing region. Before you Maneuver, make sure that you have familiarized yourself with the Maneuver Restriction Policy. The following actions will prevent you from maneuvering:
- Army out of Base - Any Troops that have been deployed outside of your base
- Attacks and Battles - Any ongoing attacks toward your base or battles in progress
Maneuvering usually has a cost, but your first maneuver is on the house. When you maneuver your base will be teleported to a random tile on the opposing region, and you will receive 3x Region Precise Teleport items. This special Teleport item allows relocation of your base while on an opposing region or at your home. The Region Precise Teleports expire at the end of the ongoing "King of the Hill" event.
Note: Any interaction with your home map will be disabled while you are away on the opposing region's map.
Your army and bonuses on the opposing region will be determined based on the following:
- Army - All armies in your base. Make sure to recover all wounded troops before maneuvering!
- Bonuses - Your armies will benefit from your General Talents, Crafting, Research, Buildings, Alliance Technology, Government Titles, Airports, VIP and Glory bonuses
- Boosters - all effects gained from active Boosters will be carried over when you maneuver to the opposing region
Note: Any Commanders that have maneuvered from their home region to yours will be indicated by an additional Region number, shown on their base.
Restricted actions while away
- Alliance Actions - Creating or Joining an Alliance while on the opposing server will not be allowed. Placing or Building Alliance Buildings in the opposing region is not allowed.
- Government Actions - Assigning or Changing Government Titles while on the opposing server will not be allowed.
- World Chat - You will not have access to the world chat of the home and opposing regions, but will still be able to access your alliance chat.
